I am Fay Conrad, student at Utrecht University studying Theater, Film and Television Sciences  I have always been in love with the art of storytelling because of it's ability to take you to another world, to another chain of events. The fictional world has the means to take you away from everyday life and make you feel joyful, make you laugh or love. But it also has the means to break you down, show you things that open your mind, make you think or even act. Ofcourse this is not new, it is not something from the last 100 years or so. Cinema and TV hails from the human nature to tell stories. It is something we do everyday, sometimes without even being aware of it. Cinephile & Co is my ode to Cinema and Television. Mediums I prefer and cherish because of their richness in audiovisuality and the wide span of possibilities they offer when telling stories.
